Goals

Updated: Feb 18

Fancy me being someone else’s goal!

But then when I think about it (and please widen any doors so my head can fit through) my email newsletters are pretty damn good and always full of inspiration, hints and to help people thrive online (see what I did there?).

Over the past 8 years I've steadily been growing my email list - it now stands at about 13.5K people. What blows my brains consistently is that people that have been on my list for years, whom I may never have heard a squeak from and often didn't even know existed, contact me following an email I sent to ask me to design their site for them.

She's always known I would be her designer

I'm on a design day today and the client has been on my email list for years apparently, though I had no idea until she got in touch a few weeks back. She told me that she's always known I would be her designer and that she was wasn't ready until now to make the investment in her business.

How mind blowing is that? I think she's been on my list since lockdown in 2020.

Talk to your audience away from social media

I can't stress enough how important it is that you talk to your audience away from social media. This is why (using this lady as an example), she's never interacted with me until now. Had she just followed me on social with zero interaction (even if she was reading all my posts) the chances are that my content just wouldn't appear in her feed anymore.

If this is the sort of thing that makes you want to scream and hide because you don't know where to start, get in touch with me, I can help!
